Professional Services

Translations

Professional, high quality translations for multiple disciplines: technical (oil and gas industries, mining, engineering), corporate (employee manuals, business documentation, finance and commerce literature, etc.), telecommunications, among others. English-Spanish certified translations.

Interpreting

Simultaneous interpretation (spoken translations in conferences and meetings), consecutive interpretation, liaison and escort interpretation services. Depending on your needs, one or more professional interpreters are used in different settings like: seminars, training sessions, business meetings and presentations, technical and trade visits (in and out of Lima).

Localization

We can also localize your software, including the GUI, help files, manuals, hardware, etc.—even your iOS and Android apps! We will use the necessary localization tools to keep the consistency of the terminology and the quality (LQA) of the whole project. We can handle several formats, including HTML, XML, PHP, ASP, FLASH, and client, web and server-based applications (front end and back end).

Training

Group or personal classes on SDL Trados Studio and SDL Multiterm for both freelance and in-house translators, and private companies with translation departments. Also offered are translation services for professionals like: terminology management, Translation Memory (TM) management, translation alignment (creation of a Translation Memory from existing professionally-translated materials) and CAT tools assistance.

Professional translations since 2002.

My name is Claudia Alvis. I am a translator, interpreter and localization specialist since 2002. I am a Member of the American Translators Association (ATA), the Association of Professional Translators of Peru (ATPP) and the United Nations Global Marketplace.

I work with a team of translators, reviewers, editors and interpreters from all over the world. We focus on two main areas: translation and interpretation services in Lima and around the country.
